Belize is Full of Surprises

Belize never fails to surprise me. Our motto "just go with it" is the way to live here. Here are some things that have surprised me in our two weeks:

1. The school does not have toilet paper or soap in the bathroom

2. No matter how much sunscreen I put on I still get burnt

3. How difficult it is to find food at 4 o'clock

4. I still have not figured out Ms. Dixie's (smoothie) schedule

5. How much people here love teachers

6. Lack of special education accommodations

7. Classrooms do not have air conditioning

8. Laminating is a million dollars

9. The school lunches are pretty good

10. The water gets even more beautiful every time I look at it
